Kevin McMahon + Titus Andronicus = another Pitchfork Best New Music

Our own Kevin McMahon produced and mixed the new Titus Andronicus album for XL, and just like the last Titus Andronicus album Kevin produced, Pitchfork gave it a “Best New Music” seal of approval.  That’s like going 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and a whole bunch of RBI’s.  Check out the review here.

Also, the band just announced a ton of new tour dates, including a stop at Brooklyn’s Glasslands Gallery on June 3rd. See full tour dates here.

Listen to the new Kele song Chris Coady mixed… now!

Chris Coady mixed one song from the Kele (the singer from Bloc Party) album back in January, and it turns out it’s the single. Pitchfork debuted it yesterday and it was actually the first time I’d heard it too.  It’s pretty good and a pretty big departure from how Bloc Party sounds.  Listen here.

Geoff Sanoff with A Camp at Stratosphere Sound

I was just doing a little housekeeping trying to keep my desktop tidy and I stumbled upon this 2008 picture of Geoff Sanoff with A Camp at Stratosphere Sound.  I meant to put it up when A Camp was nominated for a Swedish Grammy, but it slipped my mind.  Here is it now:
