Chris Coady produced the leadoff track of the upcoming Zola Jesus”Valusia” EP called “Poor Animal” a few weeks ago. I’ve heard it and it is pretty awesome – a bit more pop than anything I’ve heard by Zola Jesus before, but it’s not a pop song. Does that make sense? For 5 years he served as in-house engineer for the highly influential DFA production team of James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy. In 2008 Eric moved on to build his own recording studio in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn. Click on his name over there on the left to check out his discography.
Kevin McMahon engineered, produced and mixed the Titus Andronicus cover song that will appear on an upcoming tour split 7″ with Free Energy. Pretty cool.
