James Brown engineered Foo Fighters album nominated for 7 Grammys!

That’s right, seven – including Album of the Year, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album.  Congratulations James, Alan, Butch, Joe, Emily and everyone else involved.  Here is a photo of James taken during the recording of “Wasting Light” with (L to R) Dave, Krist, James, Alan Moulder and Butch Vig.  Click here for a full list of nominees.

Pitchfork debuts video for “Benefits” by North Highlands!

Earlier this year Kyle “Slick” Johnson produced, engineered and mixed the upcoming LP by one of my favorite bands at the moment, North Highlands.  They shot a video for “Benefits” and Pitchfork debuted it today – click below to watch!
