Our favorite Englishman and Yankees fan James Brown is finishing up work on the new Foo Fighters LP today. Apparently the band played a surprise set at a bar in Encino last night to 200 people and James says it was fantastic. Why doesn’t that kind of thing ever happen to me when I’m out drinking? Our Kyle “Slick” Johnson produced and mixed the debut album by Young Buffalo this summer. It’s set for an early 2011 release on Fat Possum Records (home of Wavves, The Walkmen, Band of Horses) and we are SUPER excited about it. I’ve been listening to the demos and album for months now and am glad that people who are just now hearing it for the first time are as excited as I am.
