‘Hector Castillo’ News

Just Managing clients & 2009 Pitchfork Readers Poll

Three of the top forty albums on the 2009 Pitchfork Readers Poll feature work by our guys.  They include:

Album of the Year:

10. Yeah Yeah Yeah’s  ”It’s Blitz” (additional engineering by Chris Coady)

32. Cymbals Eat Guitars  ”Why there are Mountains” (produced/engineered/mixed by Kyle “Slick” Johnson)

25. Antony and the Johnsons  ”The Crying Light” (engineering by Hector Castillo)

Mark my words there will be more next year.  I’m thinking Beach House, Wavves, Blonde Redhead, Rogue Wave, Delorean…
