I was just doing a little housekeeping trying to keep my desktop tidy and I stumbled upon this 2008 picture of Geoff Sanoff with A Camp at Stratosphere Sound. I meant to put it up when A Camp was nominated for a Swedish Grammy, but it slipped my mind. Here is it now:
So I Googled “Nada Surf Live in Japan” and pictures from them live at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City came up. Someone’s algorithm needs tweaking…
Anyway, Geoff just mixed a bunch of live Nada Surf tracks that will show up as bonus tracks on the Japanese version of their upcoming album “If I Had a Hi-Fi”. Cool. Check out that Bowery Ballroom picture for no real reason here:
Yesterday as part of the “Live at Lime” series produced by the LimeWire store, our Geoff Sanoff recorded and mixed a live 5 song session by the Soundtrack of Our Lives at Stratosphere Sound. It was a whirlwind session with the band only in the studio for 3 hours – there wasn’t even time to take a proper photo. Below is the best one of the bunch.
